It seemed that after binge-watching their favorite K-Drama, the public has got the time to appreciate our own as Filipino comedy film “Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap” becomes Netflix's most-streamed film on Saturday, July 4.
Top-billed by artists Paolo Contis (Nicoy), Pepe Herrera (Eman), Jelson Bay (Carlo) and Jerald Napoles (Toto) and directed by Marius Talampas, “Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap” follows the story of four men struggling to fulfill their dream of becoming notorious hold uppers.
“Ang Parangap Kong Holdap” arrived on the online streaming site on July 3 and the film's Netflix achievement was announced by production house Mavx Productions on its official Facebook post.
It said, “Opo totoo po ang chikka ng mga kapitbahay! May katapat na ang 'Money Heist' dahil 'Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap' is streaming on Netflix SOOON! #MoneyHays.”
It can be recalled that in 2018, “Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap” was denied cinema slots because of the fear that it could send a bad public message.
